Simon Sinek
I am a person who wears multiple hats at any given moment. Sometimes I manage to juggle the roles effectively like an experienced juggler but sometimes one of the balls might slip. I pick it up, maybe keep all away for a break and restart-that’s life isn’t it?
I am a registered psychologist who is a passionate EMDR therapist, mother to two lovely humans, wife of a kind and generous man and most importantly an avid tea drinker, or I should say chai drinker. When you come into my office, you will get me as your therapist and a cup of warm soothing tea.
My therapy style reflects the above and can be described as direct, genuine, honest, compassionate, empathetic with a strong dose of fun, playfulness and humor.
I have called Melbourne my home since 2019. I have worked across community and private settings both in Australia and overseas. As a psychologist I have been passionate about helping my clients create lasting change through my therapy approaches that I have learnt in my 12 years of professional career.
Before diving deep into the field of psychology I trained as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine (Homoeopathy) and practised as a Homoeopathic physician for 6 years. I have chosen not to register myself as a Homoeopath in Australia. Having worked and lived overseas, I practice in a culturally sensitive manner and view the cultural lens as important when trying to navigate distress, improving quality of life, and reducing symptoms. I believe that despite our histories and circumstances we strive for purpose, fulfillment and growth. I ask myself, how can I meet you where you are in your journey towards connection and change.
